Technology Road mapping:

The term "Technology Road mapping" (TRM) refers to various kinds of forecast or Foresight studies including visions and detailed projections of future possible technological developments, products or environments. A roadmap is an extended look at the future for a chosen field of enquiry composed from the collective knowledge and imagination of the brightest drivers of change in that field. Roadmaps communicate visions, attract resources from business and government, stimulate investigations and monitor progress. They become the inventory of possibilities for a particular field. Teritorial foresight:

An exercise has a Territorial Focus if its primary aim is to identify the main challenges affecting a particular region and arrive at a common vision for it. There are numerous different levels of territorial focus, ranging from local Foresight up to international Foresight.

Time horizon:

The time horizon is a future point in time that sets the temporal scope and future orientation of the Foresight exercise.
