Elaboration of RDI National Strategy within the framework of the National Foresight Exercise

Project objectives

The elaboration of RDI national strategy for the period based on strategic planning elements follows the next steps:

I. Evaluation of the actual performances of the R&D activity (especially the results of  the 1st National Plan for Research Development Innovation - NPRDI 1);

II. Analysis of the actual organization and management of the RDI system;

III. Evaluation of the external environment and analysis of the external influence factors;

IV. Evaluation of the internal environment and analysis of the internal influence factors;

V. Selection of the strategic factors in RDI activity and review of the vision, mission and strategic objectives;

VI. Generation of strategic alternatives and selection of the most appropriate strategy;

VII. Elaboration of the instruments and procedures for strategy implementation;

VIII. Design of a system of indicators for performance evaluation and elaboration of control instruments and procedures

The project’s main objective is the develop the RDI National Strategy for the period 2007-2013,  that should eventually generate the future framework programme “National RDI plan for the period 2007-2013”.
