Future study:

       Future study refers to any kind of study focusing on what the future might be like. This is a a complex, globally distributed and poorly defined field of study.There is no consensus whether this is more a scientific or a creative discipline. Foresight, forecasting and modelling are different kinds of future studies. Unlike Foresight, future studies in general are not necessarily action-oriented, exploratory or participatory.
