Context:
The context refers the circumstances and conditions which "surround" an object. In the specific case of a Foresight exercise this includes the actors, i.e. the institutions, decision-making bodies, associations, NGOs, lobbying groups, and also the legislation and the culture.
Creativity:
Creativity can be defined as the necessary mental skills to invent new ideas and thus to produce innovation. Within the context of Foresight activities, it is necessary to preserve the creative spirit from the threats of certain administrative environments.
Critical and key technology studies:
Critical and key technology studies are usually based on interviews with experts on the technology for which a forecast is being developed. Although usually applied to technologies, the underlying principles can also be used to define key actions or set priorities.
