Decision:
A decision is the commitment to irrevocably allocate valuable resources, a commitment to carry out an action. Decision making is the cognitive process of selecting a course of action from various alternatives. The objective of any Foresight activities is to contribute to, facilitate or guide the decision-making process, usually by providing strategicrecommendations to policy-makers or corporate executives as part of the formal outputs of an exercise. However, decision-making itself is not part of the Foresight process and remains within the professional scope of the executives or managers.
Delphi Survey:
The Delphi method is based on structural surveys and makes use of information from the experience and knowledge of the participants, who are mainly experts in the relevant field(s).
Dissemination:
Dissemination is the process of making the output of a Foresight exercise known to the widest possible range of stakeholders.
